The Malta International Airport has registered a significant increase in May passengers traffic this year. It was estimated that MIA welcomed a total of 402,289 passengers, a 6.4% rise in passenger movements compared to last year.
Malta International Airport has reported that it has ended 2013 with 12 record months and a total of 4,031,502 passenger movements. The unprecedented results were explained during a press conference at the La Valette Lounge, where MIA also forecast a growth of 2% for 2014 while outlining big investments currently underway at the airport.
The Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry has followed with interest the recent debates in Parliament and elsewhere regarding the Individual Investor Programme (IIP).
