National Literacy strategy launched
The Minister for Education and Employment, Evarist Bartolo, launched a National Literacy Strategy for All Framework on Saturday.
The Framework is intended to serve as a basis for intensive consultation with stakeholders, on the basis of which, a National Literacy Strategy for All will be formulated in the coming weeks.

Car on fire in Floriana
The police reported a car caught fire in Triq V. Dimech, Floriana, at around 04:00hrs CEST. The fire was controlled by members of the Civil Protection Department.
