Video: Civil Protection extract people from rubble in exercise

In the last few days volunteer members of the Civil Protection Department held an intensive exercise in the extraction of persons under the rubble. The event was held at Ghajn Tuffieha and some 30 members of the so-called ‘SPIDER’ team took part in it.

Motorcyclist injured in traffic accident

A motorcyclist was hospitalised after he involved in a crash with a car in St Julian’s on Saturday morning. The accident happened at around 9.45am. There are no details about his condition.

Video: AFM personnel acting in self-defense

Investigations have been made by Headquarters AFM on Thursday, following the incident involving Service personnel and Greek locals on the island of Lesvos, in the town on Mitilini.
