Video: Best artistic expression in the Malta Arts Festival
This year’s Malta Arts Festival is in its 4th year and promises to be an exciting 25 days of artistic expression by both local and foreign artistes. Mario Frendo, Artistic Director of the Festival, said that this year they are introducing an opera for children called Hansel and Gretel, on the 6th and 7th July.
Local TV station Favourite Channels caught some of the sights and sounds of the festival.
This year’s festival also includes the world-famous Arditti Quartet in Concert and an experimental theatre project enacted inside a television studio based on Shakespeare’s King Lear.
Tickets are available from www.maltaticket.com and from any of the following outlets in Malta and Gozo: Exotique, Agenda, Vodafone, Bookends and Newskiosk.
