Double Trouble for Junior Eurovision Song Contest
Francesca and Mikaela will represent Malta in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2009 to be held in Kiev, Ukraine on the 21st November thanks to their song Double Trouble.
Chosen through 50% televoting and 50% jury, the fun song emerged as the winner on Saturday followed by Ylenia Vella’s One True Passion in second place and The Mambo Song sung by Sarah in third place.
Presenting the PBS televised evening were young presenters Jacob Piccinino and Francesca Zarb.
The twenty songs which participated on Saturday and which were chosen from 66 submissions were the following:
