Video: Maltese film Agora considered second biggest in Europe

One of the biggest films ever to be produced in Malta is being considered the second biggest European film ever. The film, Agora, was filmed entirely in Malta and cost around €50 million euros, of which €17 million euros were left in Maltese coffers. The film was premiered in Malta on Wednesday.
The film Agora narrates the story of Hypatia, the first female astronomer who lived in a time of conflict between pagans, Christians and Jews. The main actor is Rachel Weisz. There are also three main Maltese actors taking part, including Emmanuel Cauchi, Harry Borg and Charles Thake.
