Hibs were on the verge of losing their first league match in over three years but they increased their successful attacks through Alison Borg and Gertrude Zarb. The fourth set ended in their favour 25-19. In the final set, Hibs started with a strong attacking rotation with Carmen Gauci taking the centre position.
