Bulgarian President to visit Malta next week

The President of the Republic of Bulgaria, H.E. Georgi Parvanov and Mrs
Parvanova, will be paying a state visit to Malta between Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st October, 2009, at the invitation of The President of Malta, Dr. George Abela.
The President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Georgi Parvanov and Mrs Parvanova, will be paying a state visit to Malta between Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st October, 2009, at the invitation of The President of Malta, Dr. George Abela. This was announced by the Department of Information on Saturday.
Bulgaria is one of latest countries to join the European Union.
Georgi Parvanov is 52 years old and was a member of the Bulgarian Socialist Party. He was elected President in 2001 and re-elected in 2006.
