Valletta Waterfront gets “scary” for Halloween
The atmosphere at the Valletta Waterfront will bear a different feeling on Saturday 31st October as the promenade will go orange and black with lit pumpkins to celebrate Halloween Night.
Traditional characters like Zombie, Grim Reaper, Dracula and the Witch, will add to the Halloween spirit turning the Valletta Waterfront into a veritable festival of mystical and mysterious imagery.
At the centre of the celebratory event will be the mythical pumpkin, symbol of the Jack-o’-lantern. A competition will be held between tenants of the Valletta Waterfront to vie for the most creative pumpkin. An independent panel of judges will decide on the winning pumpkin and its creator will be awarded a trophy.
“The Valletta Waterfront has gained a reputation for the value added it offers to patrons through the various activities organised on a regular basis,” said Joshua G. Giordimaina, Marketing Executive (Landside) of VISET Malta, developers and operators of the Valletta Waterfront.
“For Halloween, we are dressing up the location for a night which amuses children and adults alike. Trick or treat, the Valletta Waterfront will offer the right backdrop for Halloween.”
