Work on a new private hospital at Bulebel has been at a standstill for over a year because of 13 Punic and Roman tombs found on the site during excavation works to build a new St James Hospital.

Excavation work had been stopped by the authorities with MEPA then having to decide the fate of these tombs. Yet one year later no decision has yet been taken.
