The façade of the Golden Harvest confectionary shop in Turu Colombo Square in Gzira was damaged in an arson attack early on Friday.

It appears that a burning tyre was thrown with the shop suffering damages to its façade, its glass door shattering and its canopy catching fire.

A balcony above the shop also sustained some damage. Luckily, no one was hurt in the incident.
