A man, 41, was seriously injured but is not in danger of dying after traffic accident in Marsa on Sunday afternoon.

The man, who hails from Bormla, was driving on December 13 road in the direction of Paola when he lost control of his car and crashed into a wall and then into a pole.  Parts of the road had to be closed for some time until the man was rescued and the debris cleared.

The police are investigating.
