Vaccination of young children to begin Thursday

The government has announced that from Thursday 14th January children who are 6 months old to 5 years old will also be able to get vaccinated against the A(H1N1) swine flu virus. This age group is considered the next vulnerable group.
Children are to be accompanied by their parents. If this is not possible, then the accompanying adult has to present a note and the ID card of one of the parents. One also has to present the Immunisation Record Card. So far, 46,928 people have been vaccinated.
Parents are to take their children to a health centre any day between 10:00 CET and 13:00 CET and from 15:00 CET to 19:00 CET. In Gozo, they can call at the general hospital between 08:00 CET and 13:00 CET.
