Fleur de Lys – Flyers Depiro 1-3 (14:25; 23:25; 25:23; 21:25)

Although both teams took long to “warm up ” in the first set, the match between Fleur de Lys and Flyers Depiro was a hard fought one.

One could have expected more from FLeur de Lys considering the number of national players in their team. However Flyers Depiro started attacking immediately whilst Fleur de Lys could not set up good attacks due to their poor reception. Flyers relied on what they do the best -defence and that proved to be too much of an obstacle for FLeur de Lys attackers.

In the third set Flyers Depiro could not keep their concentration level as in previous sets, so FDL took advantage and made a lead of 16-14 and kept going till the end -25-23 . This seemed to be a wake up call for Flyers Depiro so the next set they started very determined and focused from the very beginning and won the final set by 25-17 .
