Maltese boxing athletes, Haithem Lammous and Clint Grech have just started a two week training program in Wales. The visit was organised and sponsored by Mr. Nino Spiteri the MBF representative in Wales whose family are from Ghajnsielem, Gozo.

Mr. Spiteri who has been involved in boxing since his early teens has a vast amount of experience and contacts in both Amateur and Professional boxing and is also experienced in the promotion of boxing shows. He has worked with several British, Commonwealth and World Champions. During their visit the Maltese boys will train under Enzo Maccarinelli, former WBO Cruiser Weight World Champion, Steve Robinson , former World Featherweight Champion Nathan Cleverley current British Commonwealth Champion and the Welsh International Boxing Team.
