Malta holds some of the highest rates of electromagnetic waves in the EU due to an increase of antennae by mobile phone companies.

Radio waves ‘smog’ is caused in the Maltese Islands due to the antennae.

In a conference, Professor Massa states that Maltese health in this regard is not being safeguarded.  He suggested that a study should be made so the public can be informed about the effects that mobile phones leave on the brain.
