Exotique sues PBS over Thea Garrett rights
Exotique owners Grace Borg and Andrea Milana have filed a lawsuit against PBS, claiming a breach of their rights over a management contract with Thea Garrett, this year’s Malta Eurosong winner.
They said that Thea had signed a one-year exclusive management contract with Exotique last year and that the contract is still valid and that it could only be terminated by mutual consent.
Exotique claimed that PBS had reached an agreement with GO to provide ringtones of Thea’s winning song My Dream, even though the rights were never theirs to begin with. They added that an agreement had also been reached over the song’s inclusion in a Eurovision album which is sold internationally.
Details about Malta’s entry to the Eurovision Song Contest available at EurovisionMalta.com.
