A traffic accident occurred on Thursday morning at Bummarad road, Burmarrad. A 36-year-old man resident at St Paul’s Bay is seriously injured but not in critical condition.

The police were informed that an accident occurred at Bumarrad road at 07:00 hrs CEST. On arriving the police discovered a Fiat 126 driven by a 23-year-old woman from Attard and a Peugeot 106 driven by the 32-year-old man from St Paul’s Bay collided, the police said in a release.

The CPD (civil protection department) was called on site and an ambulance rushed the man to hospital.

Further investigations on the case are underway.
