Video: Photographer dies in fall off cliffs
A 57-year-old photographer from Sliema has died after he succumbed to his injuries overnight after falling off a cliff at Wied iz-Zurrieq on Thursday evening.
The police reported that the incident occurred at around 19:30 CEST on Thursday when the photographer was taking some photos of a couple when he slipped and fell off the cliff into the sea below.
An ambulance rushed the man to hospital where he was certified to be seriously injured and in danger of dying. He later died during the night.
Meanwhile, a 70-year-old man from Balzan was seriously injured at around 21:30 CEST on Thursday when he slipped and hit his head at his local band club. He is in danger of dying.
In yet another incident, a 40-year-old Arab man living in Msida was stabbed in the chest in an argument in Marsa late on Thursday night at around 22:00 CEST. His condition has improved after he was operated on.
