Posted on July 24th, 2010
Around 12 participants have recently completed a five-day course focusing on Affresci, organised by the Wistin Camilleri Gozo Centre for Art and Crafts in Għajnsielem.
Professor Sergio Favotto from the Accademia Delle Belle Arti in Firenze led the course in an excellent and professional way, and lectured amongst others several techniques and methods this art entails. The participants also had the opportunity to create their own affresco. Fr. Charles Cini was instrumental in the coordination of this course. Being the first of its kind in Gozo, this course was welcomed with enthusiasm.
All participants expressed satisfaction, both for the professional delivery of the course as well as for the unique experience acquired through it.
