A man and a girl were slightly injured in a traffic accident between a water bowser and a car on Tuesday morning in Hamrun.

The police reported that the accident happened at around 09:00 CEST in Triq il-Kappillan Mifsud, close to the St Francis Church in Hamrun. An ambulance took the 63-year-old driver of the car and a 7-year-old girl passenger to hospital.

The girl was certified to be seriously injured but not in danger of dying, while the man was certified to be only slightly injured.
