Success for Maltese singers in Tenerife

Two Maltese singers Romina Mamo, winner of this year’s International Malta Hit Song Contest and Gloriana Arpa Belli have ranked second and first place respectively in the prestigious Universong Festival that took place recently in Tenerife, Canary Islands.
Gloriana interpreted the song “Love is made of Clay” written by Doris Chetcuti and composed by Renato Briffa , whereas Romina interpreted the song “The Final Kiss” written by Deo Grech and composed by Clinton Paul.
In total, fifteen singers from twelve different countries participated in the Festival. The Maltese delegation was led by the General Secretary of WAFA, Mr Robert Cefai.
