This year’s Lejla Mgarrija will be held on Sunday 8th August, at the Mgarr square, from 19:30 CEST till late. The event includes display of fruit, vegetables, photography, flower arrangements, wines, decorated carts, and much more. The event will be streamed live through multiple cameras right on this website.

There will also be an Agricultural Exhibition featuring prize produce competing for awards and also horse carts decorated with fresh fruit and rural objects.

Other events will be a professionally-produced Variety show spread across three stages (main square and pavis) showcasing local and national talent, including a children’s choir, live bands and folk dancers.

There will also be various themed exhibitions, including of antique tools, honey & bee keeping, fishing heritage, traditional sheep wool and artistic weaving and the largest collection of agricultural machinery ever.

Various food stalls will be offering typical dishes as well as homemade wine and preserves.
