Gozitan charged with threatening woman
51-year-old Natal Fava from Victoria Gozo pleaded not guilty to threatening a woman and with owning two unlicensed firearms and ammunition. He was granted bail against a deposit of €1,500 and a personal guarantee of €1,000. He was also ordered to report at the Victoria police station once a week.
Meanwhile, 19-year-old Richard Muscat and 18-year-old Carlo Muscat were remanded in custody after they were charged with assaulting an elderly man after the latter repeatedly asked the two young men to turn the music down at night.
The assault allegedly occurred at around 22:00 CEST on Saturday in a block of apartments at St Julian’s when the man asked the two brothers to turn down the music at their grandmother’s apartment.
The two brothers then proceeded to break down the door of the man’s apartment and assaulted him. The man was slightly injured.
