Urgent need of blood

The Blood Bank has said that blood of types A and O positive is needed urgently.
The situation is currently alarming as some patients might not be able to receive the necessary blood transfusions in the next few hours and some operations might have to be cancelled.
The Blood Bank is located next to St Luke’s Hospital and is open every day from 08:00 CEST to 18:00 CEST. Those donating blood are to present their ID card or driving licence.
