A young boy was seriously injured after he fell a height of one storey at his home in Munxar Gozo at around noon on Friday.

The police reported that the 10-year-old boy was coming down the stairs from the roof of his home when he fell a height of around one storey.

The boy was taken to the Gozo General Hospital where soon afterwards he was transferred to Mater Dei Hospital, where it was certified he was seriously injured and in danger of dying.
