The police have arrested four people involved in drugs these past two days.

The police reported that a 28-year-old man from Qormi was arrested at his residence in Qormi on Saturday afternoon, where 54 ecstasy pills, some cannabis and drug-related items were found. The man was allegedly trafficking in heroin.

In a separate case, a 22-year-old man from Birkirkara was arrested at a nightclub in Paceville on Saturday night for being in possession of cocaine.

The third arrest took place in Birkirkara early on Sunday afternoon, where a 25-year-old man was arrested after packets of heroin were found in his possession and more drugs and drug-related items were found at his home. His 60-year-old father was also arrested for being in possession of various fake euro bankotes.
