‘Inizjamed’ is receiving applications for Skopje Biennale of Young Artists
Inizjamed is receiving applications from young artists who would like to take part in the XIV Edition of the Biennial of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean in Skopje, Macedonia, between 3 and 12 September 2009.
Malta has been asked to participate in the fields of visual art, literature and the performing arts.
Artists must be between the ages of 18 and 30, of Maltese nationality or residing in Malta. Through their participation in the Biennial, those selected will represent the more innovative and dynamic aspects of the arts in Malta.
As “ambassadors” for Maltese arts they are to participate in the Biennale to seek to create new opportunities for themselves as well as the arts community in Malta and aim to develop contacts which may encourage new collaborations with European and Mediterranean partners for themselves as well as Inizjamed.
Completed application forms, downloadable from www.inizjamed.org, along with the supplementary documents, must be sent to Inizjamed at clareazz@googlemail.com and/or 55, Triq il-Barbaġann, Kappara, San Ġwann, SGN 4034, by 15th January, 2009.
