The eighth edition of the ‘Carols by Candlelight’ will be held on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th December at the St Augustine Monastery in Victoria, Gozo.

The concert will mark the tenth year since the founding of the Schola Cantorum Jubilate choir.

The concert will include classical, traditional and popular anthems, together withother musical compositions. Featured works will include compositions by Praetorius, Liebergen, Rutter, Willcocks, and Portelli.

Solos will include Marouska Attard and Albert Buttigieg. Philip Attard and Fabian Cini will play a medley of traditional Christmas anthems. Other instrumental pieces will be played by Joseph Camilleri and Carlos Borg. Marouska Attard will direct the choir.

A Christmas banquet will follow the concert; paintings by George Scicluna will also be displayed during the night. The concert will start at 19:30hrs CEST.

All profit will be donated to Dar Ġużeppa Debono, which offers support to single and teenage mothers.
