A 52-year-old man died after the car he was driving was involved in a road accident in Qormi on Wednesday afternoon.

The police reported that the accident occurred in Main Street Qormi at around 15:45 CEST where the victim lost control of his Fiat Doblo and crashed into a Toyota Vitz driven by a 34-year-old man from Hamrun.

The man driving the Fiat was rushed to hospital where he died soon afterwards. The other driver was not injured.
