A small amount of money was stolen in a hold-up in a shop in Birkirkara on Wednesday evening.

The police reported that an armed man entered a shop in Valley Road Birkirkara at around 18:05 CEST on Wednesday and demanded money from the salegirl. Although the man was armed with a knife, no one was hurt. Only a small amount of money was stolen.
