At around 18:10hrs CET of Saturday the police were informed that there was a collision in Mgarr. The motorcycle was driven by a 28-year-old man from Sta Lucija collided with a Toyota Dyna, driven by a 57-year-old man resident in Imgarr.

The police said the 28-year-old was taken to Mater Dei hospital; his injuries are not of a serious nature.

Further investigations are underway.
