On Wednesday evening a 29-year-old man was seriously injured after falling from a height in Qormi.  The man is in danger of dying.

The police said that the man, a Qormi resident, was carrying out works on a building site in Triq tal-Ħandaq when he fell a height of around one storey, at around 18:00hrs CEST.

The man was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital where he is being treated for his critical injuries.

Magistrate Marse-Ann Farrugia is heading an inquiry.
