Urgent appeals for blood donations

The Blood Bank has appealed for urgent blood donations because of a shortage caused by various accidents over the past few days. It urged people who are in good health to call at the blood bank in Guardamangia, near St Luke’s Hospital. The bank remains open up to 18:00 but may remain open longer if necessary. Donors will need to present their ID card.
