On friday afternoon many localities spent an hour and 15 minutes without electricity after a boiler tripped at Marsa power station.

Following the intervention of Enemalta technicians and engineers, power started to be restored and some localities had their electricity back by 16.50hrs CEST. Enemalta confirmed that power was restored to every locality by 17.30hrs CEST.

The corporation apologised for the inconvenience.
