Newborn found abandoned in Rabat

A newborn baby girl was found abandoned opposite the Ursoline sisters’ institute in Triq il-Virtu’ Rabat on Friday morning.
The police confirmed that at around 10:45hrs CET a newborn was found in a gym bag opposite the institute.
The baby girl was rushed to Mater Dei hospital, to evaluate her health which was found to be good.
Further investigations are underway.
