Two people were killed in an apartment in High Street, Sliema on Sunday morning.  Many theories as to what may have lead to the incident are being considered.

The police confirmed the victims are 32-year-old Duncan Zammit, the owner of the apartment and 26-year-old Nicholas Gera. Both died after a knife fight which left the two with multiple stab wounds.

The police were informed about the incident at around 07:15hrs CET.

Autopsies on both corpses will be carried out on Monday.

Further investigations are underway.
