19-year-old critical as car overturns

A 19-year-old man from Hamrun is in a critical condition after sustaining head injuries in a traffic accident on the Birkirkara-by-Pass at around 09:40hrs CEST on Sunday.
The police confirmed the man was driving a Toyota Yaris towards Msida when the car overturned.
The 19-year-old was rushed to Mater Dei hospital where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries.
Further investigations are underway.
