Police foil Swieqi hold up

The Police foiled a hold-up after two hooded men stole about €2,250 in cash from Greens Supermarket at Tal-Ibrag at around 16:00hrs CEST on Tuesday.
The police confirmed that after the hold-up the suspects escaped from the supermarket in a white car, a car chase followed immediately through Bahar ic-Caghaq, along the Coast Road and up Ta’ Alla u Ommu. The robbers were then arrested in J Howard Street, Naxxar.
A inquiry was ordered.
