Conad Filetti di Alici all’ Olio di Oliva recalled
In accordance with the Food Safety Act and Regulation (EC) No 178 of 2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council, the Environmental Health Directorate within the Superintendence of Public Health wishes to inform the public that as a precautionary measure the Filetti di Alici all’ Olio di Oliva 90g glass jar by Conad, is not to be consumed because of a level of Histamine that exceeds permitted limits established in Commission Regulation (EC) No 2073/2005 of 15 November 2005 on microbiological criteria for foodstuffs, as amended by Commission Regulation 1441 of 2007.
The lot no. is L 11 222 with a durability date of 11/2012.
The Company was ordered to withdraw the involved batch from the market, but since the product was completely sold to consumers, the Directorate is obliged to inform consumers of this recall.
