A 60-year-old man suffered serious injuries on Thursday evening after the roof of his house in Senglea collapsed.

The police said the roof of the man’s house in Oratory Street collapsed at around 18:00hrs CEST.

The man was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital where he was treated for serious but not life threatening injuries.

Further investigations are underway.
