European Cathedral Singers Tour in Malta
The European Cathedral Singers (ECS), organised and directed by the Royal School of Church Music European Co-ordinator, Martin Van Bleek, invite a choir of some twenty choristers from the leading cathedrals and churches of Northwest Europe to tour a chosen part of the world each year. This year they are coming to the South for the first time and have chosen Malta as one of their destinations.
They will be giving two beautiful concerts of fine singing “Anthems through the Centuries” at St. Paul’s pro-Cathedral, Independence Square, Valletta, at 13:00 CEST on Friday 18th May and at 19:00 CEST on Saturday 19th May; also included will be instrumental interludes on flute and organ or piano. Entry is 10 or 15 euros.
Tickets can be purchased at the door and reservations can be taken by telephone (00356 7904 3333) or by sending an email to info@etixinternational.com.
The choir this year is from Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Scotland and England, and from three separate denominations.
