A 29-year-old Gozitan man was grievously injured after his motorcycle was involved in a crash at the Cost Road, Bahar ic-Caqghaq at around 07:10hrs CEST on Tuesday.

The police said the 29-year-old crashed into a Peugeot driven by 67-year-old from Naxxar.

He was rushed to Mater Dei hospital where he is being treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries.

A magisterial inquiry is underway.
