A 39-year-old motorcyclist from Sta Venera was grievously injured in a traffic accident at Aldo Moro Street, Marsa, at around 06:45hrs CEST on Sunday morning.

The police said the man, lost control of his Yamaha motorcycle while driving in the direction of Paola.

He was rushed to Mater Dei hospital where he is being treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries.
