Two men were grievously injured in a head-on crash on the Coast Road at around 5:00hrs CEST on Thursday.

The police said that the collision occurred between a Mercedes driven by a 59-year-old man from St Paul’s Bay and a black Volkswagen Golf which was being driven by a 21-year-old man from Bosnia Herzegovina, who lives in St Paul’s Bay.

The two were rushed to Mater Dei hospital where they are being treated for serious injuries.

Further investigations are underway.
