A 19-year-old woman from Balzan was injured in a traffic accident in Lija at around 17:30hrs CEST on Sunday.

The police said the woman was driving a Toyota Yaris in Mosta Road heading towards Birkirkara when she crashed into a Daihatsu Sirion, driven by a 38-year-old woman from Gzira, headed in the opposite direction.
