Gozitan paintings for Museum of Contemporary Art in Florina Greece.
The Gozitan artist Justin Falzon is participating in an art exhibition for students organised by Regione Toscana, Provincia di Firenze, Provincia di Prato, Embassy of Greece in Italy and the Generale Consulate of United States of America.
The exhibition was organised on the occasion of the “Festa della Toscana 2008” and this year the exhibition centered on the theme of work in all its forms. The title of the exhibition was ‘Art Clash’, and as its name proclaims, aspired to be multi-ethnic and multi-linguistic movement. O
n this occasion, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Florina, Greece acquired 3 paintings of the Gozitan artist Justin Falzon. The Museum of Contemporary Art incorporates a remarkable collection of 500 paintings, sculptures and engravings, mostly by artists from Greece and also from abroad.
The entire collection cannot be shown all at the same time, but is exhibited in parts. Frequently, new acquisitions are presented to the public. The Museum, in cooperation with established artistic centres (National Gallery of Greece, Goethe Institute, Institute Francaise, etc) presents, periodically, thematic exhibitions, along with private or group exhibitions of renowned artists and new authors that create innovative and experimental proposals of artistic expression.
