Rural Affairs Minister George Pullicino visited the petting farm being set up at Ta Qali with an investment of €800,000 on Friday morning.
The farm is spread on 13,300 square metres of land and will offer children and families the opportunity to learn about animals while giving them the opportunity to interact with them.
Animals will include horses, rabbits, peacocks, lambs, goats and birds.
Minister Pullicino said future plans for Ta’ Qali include a toddlers’ area, a skate park, a butterfly house and a cycling track.
