Nigerian injured in figth

A 33-year-old Nigerian resident in St Paul’s Bay was grievously injured during a fight with a 26-year-old Nigerian woman in his residence at Triq it-Torri, St Paul’s Bay at 03:30hrs CEST.
The police said that preliminary investigations show that the woman, resident at the Hal Far open centre, injured the man who was attacking her while defending herself.
The man was taken to the Mosta Health Centre for treatment and was then detained by the police.
Further investigations are underway.
