Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi clearly condemned the murder that took place in Libya,killing four US officials including America’s ambassador Chris Stevens, adding that he hoped this would not cast shadows on the progress of Libya in its path towards democracy.

On behalf of Malta he expressed solidarity towards US authorities and victims’ families.
